Powermix consider their company to be "A house of entertainment" because they want to create a vehicle to groom and prepare artist(s) for the industry in general. Powermix hopes that the music we produce is to entertain on all levels. Powermix aspire to not only to take care of recording the talent but also to showcase how the talent will be portrayed to the public.
Powermix Records Ent. is adamant that those in the entertainment industry will attain success if they take the time to know the business. The company's interest is in those who are entertainers and performers and have a passion for music.
Powermix wants to focus on quality music to sell units not "hype" thus is very meticulous on the selection of tracks, as well as the writing of the lyrics. Powermix aspire to be an internationally known household name.
Powermix Records Entertainment has a signed distribution deal with Lightyear Entertainment and released their first CD "Love & Justice" on under the label banner Powermix/Lightwear/WEA (Warner Electra Atlantic). Powermix still maintains its distribution deal with Lightyear/EMI.
Powermix will soon be launching their non-profit organization P.R.O.O.F. (Powermix Reaches Out On Friends) They have embarked on a project to assist if not totally remedy the lack of ambulance system in Jamaica and the Caribbean. We invite anyone interested in being a part of this project to contact us in this regard.
